Standard Premium Services:
Premium Residential or commercial painting: All standard or custom painting is done using quality tools, equipment and products to ensure a more desired end result in a timely fashion. While most projects will involve mostly regular painting and minor plaster repairs, for those who may be interested, I also offer many other options (see below) that can compliment and help create a more aesthetically pleasing or sophisticated look.
Plastering/Plaster repairs: Done using premium quality German made tools and equipment. Plaster sanding is done virtually dust-free using a premium quality sanding vacuum (extraction) system and using the best plaster tools available ensures a premium finish in an efficient manner.
Dust-free sanding raises the bar when it comes to cleanliness: Having your house painted and doing plaster repairs can be a very intrusive experience when it comes to creating vast amounts of dust from sanding (both seen and unseen particles); it can get into and on virtually everything from appliances to vents, electronics and personal belongings, etc…
Being able to remove up to 99% of the dust during sanding; this premium system is excellent for maintaining healthy air quality and a clean work environment. It is a perfect solution for commercial buildings where regular work hours need to be maintained without interruption and also for anyone with health issues or sensitivities to dust.
Using this high quality (German made) dust-free sanding system is the absolute best way to do the cleanest job possible. Clients are always very impressed and happy with how clean their house is kept during and when the job is completed. I cannot say enough good things about this system, it really is a game changer for being able to do clean work.
*Capturing the dust as and where it is being made is the most practical solution by far.
Kitchen cabinet painting: You can save $1000’s by painting kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them. Many times the existing cabinets are in great condition but may look a bit dated from normal wear and tear over time. A new colour and new hardware could be all that is needed to create a pleasing transformation, at a fraction of the cost of buying new.
Benjamin Moore has developed the innovative Advance Waterborne Alkyd (oil) paint, which is considered to be the best paint for cabinets because it has the extended open time required for high-end cabinetry and trim finishes, while also being non toxic and very durable. The end result is a hard smooth finish with the durability of oil paint but with the benefit being applied with the ease and cleanliness of water paints. *Solvent free paint; only water is required for clean up.

Wallpaper Removal: There are many variables that can determine how easy it will be to remove and in many cases there will be unavoidable damage to the drywall paper underneath, which will need to be plastered to be repaired. Usually it will require some minor plaster patch work and in other cases, there could be a bit more plastering involved.
Note: Removal is done using a steam for the best results with the least amount of mess and damage.
Custom Services:
Colour Washing – is the decorative technique of blending 2 (or more) paint colours to create an ‘old world’ look of soft, light and dark shadings. The cost of ‘colour washing’ is also very reasonable because it is much less time consuming to produce than most of other decorative finishes. It can be done in any colour hue (earth tones, etc…); more colour samples coming soon…
Custom, Speciality or Faux painting: options include wood-graining, marbling, colour-washing, etc…. (pictures of marbling samples coming soon)
Faux wood graining – is a great solution for where it may not be economically viable or practical to replace existing interiors or to install new high quality wood and with the current high demand for natural resources, the prices for premium, rare or exotic woods have become very dear. With the cost of natural materials being excessively high these days, it really is an economically viable option for beautifying any space. For more, click here…

Italian Black Portoro marbling – transform a fireplace, column’s, etc… with the beautiful exotic look of Italian Black Portoro Marble.

*Realistic looking faux marbling is an excellent viable alternative to the real thing. .

About: Quarried in Italy, Black (Nero) Portoro marble is known for its naturally elegant, unique look. With its peculiar structure and unique characteristics, it is one of the most exclusive marbles; used mainly on high level interior decorative projects. The ‘Golden Portoro’ type (with gold and white calcite irregular veining – above↑) is the most luxurious and probably the most expensive marble available on the market today. Used since before Roman times, Black Portoro marble is the quintessential marble to be used on exclusive projects with generous budgets.
*Other marble types can be created as well; such as white marble with grey veining (or another colour; or could match an existing marble colour) or black marble with white veining (and/or with other subtle veining colours)
Can be done almost any smooth surface to transform any setting into something very unique and beautiful. *One example of a possible use for Portoro marbling would be, framed 1/2 wall panels of Portoro marbling (similar to framed wainscoting), cover the panels with glass, as a protective veneer and to create the ultimate gloss effect; would look absolutely stunning in the right high class setting.

Old window and door restoration: Most people do not realize that the old glazed (puttied) windows can be restored and will last many times longer compared to any replacement window on the market today by using organic linseed oil glazing putty and organic linseed oil paint. Old paint and hardened putty can be safely removed using an infrared lamp specifically designed for that purpose. The heat safely passes through the glass without having to cover it. Restoring old windows with organic linseed oil glazing putty and organic linseed oil paint will ensure they last for another 50 – 100 years with a very simple maintenance of a coat of linseed oil every 5 – 10 years (depending on amount of exposure to the elements).
Infrared paint removal system: Unbeatable for the speedy removal of paint or varnish. No other method compares to infrared technology for being so effective at paint removal while being gentle on the wood. Infrared is superior for achieving bare wood after stripping, which allows new paint (ideally linseed oil paint) to soak in and adhere better.
It is ideal for the safe removal of lead based paints that were commonly used before 1978. The low temperature of the lamp ensures that no dangerous fumes are released in the air. Any toxins remain in the old paint scrapings.
Pressure washing: Is a great way to easily increase the curb appeal of your property by removing built up dirt and grime that dulls the look of a house or building; it is particularly effective at removing mould and mildew that can become very unsightly and help retain damaging moisture.
